      ... I would've loved to know how much some of that stuff cost! At the entrance to the pier is an enormous statue of a sea turtle, so we made pix with that before venturing out onto the pier. Josh actually saw a pretty good-sized shark, but by the time I got there to make its picture, it was too far below the surface to show up. I made a photo of where a shark used to be, but didn't include it here. (Pretty dull photo, actually.)

      ... who lives in the swamp - shall we call this one George? We weren't able to get a photo of George yesterday, but I did get one today - that will show up later. I'm trying to do this in consecutive order. We now understand the Plantation signs that "Alligators Are Not Pets." That swamp looks like a cozy place for an alligator!
