    ... a route. We had taken a route yesterday to the I-10 that was much easier and did not present any more obstacles than the one today. In fact, I think it had less tight roads to traverse. Oh well.

    ... goes from Dauphin Island to Mobile but that is definitely a long way around. The easy decision is We Wait. And guess what? Our car won't fit! At least, we are guaranteed to have a spot on the next one! No see-ums (the South's name for gnats) drive us crazy. There is construction of the rest stop building so it is closed and the small stretch of beach was stinky with fish and loud with construction.
