... got wee'd on by the dog,(a trick) . Fletch was a bit worried it was real. A short snippet is attached.
All in all a good day was had at universal studios. It was very handy having the front of line passes so we didn't have to queue for ages. It was an extremely tiring day though.

Off to Las Vegas tomorrow in a rental car. It will be interesting, especially as the traffic around here is thick as and there are 6 lane freeways. It's only supposed to be a 4 hour drive. See how we ...

First morning in LA was a sleeping in one, thankfully. Nothing urgent today though we'd plan to walk to Downtown Disney and get a taste for what Disneyland may be like. I woke up around 7, felt like I'd been run over by a jet and went back to sleep for a few more hours before Cilla was itching to leave and explore. Got together with all the family and Grandpa even played golf with the Josh and Jay on his brand new AWESOME knee. It might have taken two years of putting our dream on hold, but it was so worth the outcome. I swear he can almost jog. Hard to say goodbye knowing it's gonna be quite a bit before we're in this neck of the woods again. We loved seeing everybody and eating so much we didn't need to eat for days!

... to Disneyland for the last time it watch the fireworks. The spectacular starts with a shooting star crossing over Sleeping Beauty's castle. Tinker bell makes an appearance as she zooms through the night sky. The fight between the two fairy godmothers in Sleeping Beauty is recreated as the sky lights blue then pink. And other classics such as Pinocchio and Mary Poppins make up the soundtrack. We leave the park feeling tired but all pretty happy. It's still my happiest place on earth.

Superbowl

... at 3.30pm pacific time and went until 7.30pm for only an hour play time. I didn’t understand the rules but the halftime concert of Bruno Mars was worth it. The Seahawks beat the Broncos by a landslide and that’s all I understood.

We then went down to the pool and jacuzzi where we chatted to some locals and then watched the fireworks from Disneyland. It was nearly a better view than from in Disneyland. Suddenly it started raining so we called it a night and went to bed ...
