About kuukausi on nyt ehditty viettää uudessa kotimaassa ja asiat on menny hyvin pitkälti todella smoothisti.
Käytännön asioista muutama sana. Tanskan sosiaaliturvatunnuksen (CPR-numeron) sain helposti vain kävelemällä virastoon ja ilmoittamalla että täällä olen. Sitä sosiaaliturvatunnusta tarvitseekin sitten että saa kaikki muut asiat hoidettua, kuten verokortin, pankkitilin, kännykkänumeron ynm.

Day ten (Bea)
... My father's family is from around here and I remember visiting when I was a child. It has kind of died since; the shops are open from 9.30am to 5pm and by the time we arrived just after 5pm all we saw were leaves blowing in the main street (it's got really windy just to emphasize the wintry theme!).
Time for another early night - this holiday thing is tiring. And I should really do some study, too!

... I found most interesting was the cemetery plots. Each plot was enclosed by a short hedge row and contained a personalized miniature garden. To me the uniqueness of each plot held much more intimate value than the flat rows of headstones that are typical in US cemeteries.
Since we only have limited time at each site, sketched and diagrams were usually finalized on the bus by using ink, charcoal, watercolor over rough ...
1st couple days on the job...
... mandatory team swims in the hotel pool, world class handball spectating...let's just say the night was eventful) It already appears to be a pretty entertaining, unique group.
After all was said and done, there were 2 full days of five star meals and drinks, but most importantly plenty of quality time...and now in hindsight, even the debacle even made for a pretty great story:)
