After a wonderful early night at our hotel we had to leave the city of Chicago to have our windshield replaced. We were so smart about it too...we left at morning rush hour during a giant rain storm! Let me tell you, that was a treat! We drove 20 miles east of the city and had safelite take care of our cracked windshield - they were great, by the way! We then traveled back to the city and parked "Charlotte" in a parking ...

Day 19, traveling through 3 states. We left our campground
in New Mexico heading east for our first stop in Texas, Cadillac Ranch. It is

There was a little wind, but just a little and the boat moved at barely two knots or less (roughly two ...

... the game was delayed until 8:15 pm (a 2 hour delay) due to torrential rain and thunder. It's hard to believe but the evening turned out to be a perfect "first day of summer" baseball game. Wrigley Field is a time warp.....while there are a few "screens" around, the score board is old fashioned. Organ music played throughout the game. The ...

... cruise. We were lucky to have beautiful, sunny weather however in the shade of the huge towering buildings the air felt cold. I admit to not being fully prepared for this variable weather which is strange coming from someone who has been living in Melbourne, but thankfully it wasn’t that bad. The clock was ticking closer to 4pm, our scheduled departure time, and Nat wasn’t anywhere to be seen. We had pre purchased all the cruise tickets, including ...
