This was my second balloon ride and this one was every bit as magical. Floating along, wherever the wind wants to take you is a peaceful, exhilarating experience. Pagosa Springs is not as scenic as flying out of Moab, but the chance to be in a hot air balloon is too special to quibble about!

... thru the deep woods and steep incline, i decided to go to the west out in the open more, less dramatic tree foreground but it would do....it just didnt seem wise hiking in that deep stuff and night right now. I spent at least an hour or more taking tons of Milky Way pics and tried some light painting on the close by trees.
