      We decided to spend the whole afternoon on Venice Beach near Santa Monica which was supposed to be a spectacular experience. Venice Beach is famous for its ocean front walk, a two-and-a-half-mile pedestrian-only promenade that features performers, fortune-tellers, artists, and vendors.       ... Grill, Mexican restaurant. Turns out it's owned by two female master chefs on TV. We took some photos on Andrews camera. I ordered beef nachos, it was really nice, Andrew had beef quasadeas. They brought out nacho chips with dips to start and we ordered a guacamole starter with bacon bits and cheese. Worth while.       ... sure they could. When Mark asked where the ride let out, they said it would let out in one of two places, at opposite ends of the building. So rather than try to find our kids in the crowd after the ride, we joined them on the ride. Again, there were technical problems and half the ride was shut down. Long wait. Jelly Beans handed out. Lots of "We're Sorry."
