    ... tried my best to annoy him and found myself hilarious (as did he in the end). We were feeling pretty tired by the evening so we watched a film in the room and then went for a quick bite to eat in a Chinese restaurant near the hotel so we could get an early night. The Chinese restaurant was actually quite good and I was happy as they had prawns with caramelised pecans on the menu, my favourite.

    ... inadequate. Oz licence not recognized! We keep calm. I explain we have had no problems with this before can't they retrieve the suitcase if necessary as it had literally gone 2 minutes before etc etc, no no , still nice, wait here, blhblahblah eventually it transpires that all he has to do is to go through the 'normal' security line, I am through the other one, asking if I must remove my bangles as usual. Maggie and I remained to work in parallel with the contractors - packing clothes into cardboard 'wardrobes', answering questions and generally keeping an eye on things. As rooms were emptied, we then moved in to vacuum and clean - it became apparent very quickly where Rambo liked to hide as those areas were very fluffy!
