    ... show all of the colors. Apparently, 20 million years ago, the area was swampy and the trees got saturated and then solidified. As the water was full of minerals, the petrified wood has lots of colors - like the bluish color from the copper and red from iron. To buy a chunk costs thousands of dollars.     ... and I get pulled over right before a toll booth where there was construction going on so I had a coned off area to pull over in.

    I was scratching my head on this one......but, what are the chances that I get pulled over right in front of the Toll highway maintenance garage? Slim, but there I was.     Slept in since we went to bed late. Drove over to the Oklahoma truck stop for breakfast. This time we took photos at the border signs.
