The trip on the ferry itself was about 1.5 hours long and well, the one thing that stood out to me was the immense line-up at the Starbucks and fast-food counters already BEFORE the ferry had even taken off. I guess people really HAVE TO eat ...

... the waterfront for a walk with Chelsea. That weekend the blues festival was taking place, and we walked past to find out that tickets were going to cost $60 for the day. As much as I love taking in live music I couldn't justify that much, especially with the big move coming up. So, instead we took a walk to the 7-11 for a slurpee and visited our friends at the Stewart house. It was great to have another goodbye with some friends who I'm sure I'll be seeing at Christmas ...
