Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

Went past Talladega NASCAR track, though, and it was ...

I had to transfer across all 5 terminals in a short time. Luckily the train is quick.

Allowed for time to get a drink in the lounge before boarding.

The Delta plane, even though it had lie-flat seats, was uncomfortable. It felt like I was in a coffin while laying down and I could barely fit between the armrests with my arms squished up against them. It was long enough, but it was even hard to sleep sideways. It was not a restful ...

    The Flights to Venice

We left home at 10:30 and our flight left Bradley at 1:00. I enjoyed reading a Robert B Parker Spencer novel on the flight. Sherry and Bill were already there to greet us when we got off of the plane. We have about a two hour layover including a slight delay, and we hope to board soon. Turns out the delay was longer than expected. The captain was great. He came out to ...
