It didn't take long for other women from around the States and Canada to sign up, also. Soon we had 18 women ready to go! We were jazzed! This will be a touristy trip - but so what? Someone else will be making all arrangements and we will get to meet new women and new friends. So now the serious planning ...

It is an eight acre outdoor memorial located in Washington Park.

We continued on past it to Hoyt Arboretum. The Arboretum was founded in 1922 ...

... and got one done in like 10 minutes. After that, I wanted to pick up more snacks, but this time for the farm and not just me. I was then picked up by Jessica at the train station around 4:30. Once I got home, I just relaxed and hung out. I did laundry which was great because my pants were starting to smell like animal poop. Dinner was a nice bacon and cheese ...

... Grind, wrote for an hour and then cruised out on the pink performance toward Albina Co-op Garden. If you haven't been to Portland on a bicycle, you will instantly notice that the gratuitous amounts of bike lanes are not just gratuitous, but also, volumptuous. You could drive 2 smart cars side-by-side and still have room for the peloton to pass. Upon arriving to Albina Community Garden, I started up a conversation about tomatoes ...
