We've stopped for the night but I'm still rocking with the motion of the train.... Left Virginia and headed north....passed Baltimore, Philadelphia, NYC...and made it all the way to Connecticut. What a day: Florida to CT ( Palm trees to snow) in 25 hours - ...

From there to New Haven in Connecticut, the home of Yale University. A great drive through the countryside after leaving the highways. Such different housing up here in the colder climes.
Breakfast overlooking Yale. Of course, wrong time of year for tours, but we had a walk around and looked at some of the beautiful old and delicate buildings.
I had planned to cross at St Stephen so I could pass by the chocolate factory, but the road actually goes directly to the new crossing and I did not realize I had to take the exit.
Highway 9 was open and clear. The view of the wild blueberry fields in the fall is quite beautiful as all the plants turn bright red.
I drove almost 1,000 Km's today and when I stopped, the ground kept moving.

We needed the WiFi to find and book somewhere to sleep tonight, and that lead to us actually finding out where we were at this point. Connecticut. Home of the WWE and uptight, well monied, emotionally stunted Americans. Or so TV and Films would have me believe. The Motel 6 [ you know, from films ] is in Branford, from where I type this very blog.
