A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 08, 2015

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. Check in is a breeze and I'm off for a shower. then dinner, meet up with friends ...

... of this holiday's usual suspects, though the girls were a bit miffed that the sweet potatoes weren't covered with marshmallows. We all took turns reeling off things for which we were thankful, spawning Devika's video and journal entry (below). While the feast was plenty satisfying, we were all keenly aware that Thanksgiving (if not all holidays) without family/friends was like all icing with no cake: sweet, but lacking ...

... and see the world. I guess the military and my retired contractor jobs planted the travel bug in us, but we thoroughly enjoy travelling, meeting people, sharing experiences, learning about different cultures, and at the end of the day, spending quality time with each other (the most important).

We encourage everyone to plan and take the time to have quality time with your loved ones. Too many of us delay, delay, delay; putting off doing the things we ...
