    Mid-Town walk

A travel blog entry by akshaytrenzy on Nov 08, 2014

Vidhi and I walked across places in New York. I had visited all of the places and was happy to be here all over again for I had company. Visited Times Square, Rock Feller plaza, Grand Central station, Walk down the 5th Avenue and then the Central Park. Was a day worth the walk again. Bought a post card that I will send to ...

... steel skeleton. Listening to some of the stories was a great reminder to how the Statue of Liberty was/is such a powerful image for so many people. We went inside the building for our trip up the inside of the statue to the pedestal level, unfortunately we couldn't go up to the crown, you needed to book well in advance for that. ... a bite. Paul gets served quickly, but for some reason, Jen and I are in the world's slowest-moving line for pancakes, which when we eventually get them, are much-enjoyed because we are ravenous! We decide to get a drink and in a very classy move, all of us wind up with a drink, including Marty and we sit in the gutter in the classiest neighbourhood in New York and toast each others health! It was a fabulous afternoon and I am honoured to apparently be (apart from Jen's ...

    Day Off

A travel blog entry by cheagney on Aug 13, 2014

We all went our separate ways today to do the things we wanted to do. I of course treated myself to a second Broadway musical - a 2.00 matinee to see Once. It was fabulous, we'll worth it. I would happily make my way through Broadway if I could, if cost and time were not prohibitive to see all the shows I could. Thanks to Omi, Gem and the boys for this brilliant ...
