... on top of Fort Mountain in northwest Georgia. The campground was heavily wooded and had million dollar views from the various lookouts. We unloaded our new scooter and zoomed around the rather large, spread out park.....sure beats bicycling long distances. Nice place.

He arrived in Mobile Bay around 1400 AD and moved north. Others state the English were trying to lay claim to the land in the late 1600's and the English built the wall.

... area is a lot of arts and crafts, and the stores close on Wednesday. Another day would have been better. We did find a few stores open and went in those stores.

On the way home, we stopped at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge. We stayed a long time. This is a place we could really go wild in making purchases. We did buy preserves, tomatoes, and a pineapple upside down ...

... As we hiked into higher elevations, it did become warmer and less windy. There are evergreen trees and trees with no leaves. Sometimes the sun peaked through the clouds. We hiked the Creek Trail, up 175 stairs to the Reflection Pool, and then 425 stairs to the top of the falls. Then, we hiked the Spring Trail. Though it seemed more, we only hiked about 3 miles.
