... sausage, and German potato salad, several varieties, one Southern style, with bits of ham and German pickles. Honestly, the hot dogs there are the best I’ve ever tasted; I like mine topped with sauerkraut. After a small pit stop at a health clinic in Birmingham, and fighting our way through stand-still traffic through Atlanta, we are finally here! By here I mean Amicalola State Park, the starting point for the Appalachian Trail. Me, my family, Will, and Jessie are spending a couple days in the state park before me and Will hit the trail. I think I should take some time to explain who Will is considering I ...
