What an arrival

Having board the easy jet flight we were told that the wind was blowing at 50 MPH in bristol well whats new its bristol we arrive 15 minuites late after a pretty bumpy decent but smooth landing at Bristol airport

... hassle to drag him out. Normally I would say something, but I thought as I was sitting next to the guy for the next 11 hrs it wasn't worth the hassle. Plus I normally ask for the aisle seat anyway, so I can walk around as I please.
Finally as the plane revved up and started along the runway the cabin really started shaking as if it was going to fall to bits any second. I turned to the guy and said, "that doesn't sound healthy does it?"
And off we went!

Well - being in Cardiff was good since it is the closest airport, being on a 2-hr drive to the hotel. But had to wait about an hour for the rental car place to open up.

At least I got to go through the visitor information brochures and grab a bite at Burger King.

Getting a bit nervous about flying though cuz last time i went on a
plane the turbalance was so bad that some people were sick and crying

Lectures were cancelled this morning so I decided to make use of my random free day before the madness of essay-writing and seminar presentation preparation takes over instead of more ambitious travel plans. We wandered down past Milennium stadium and then headed down to Cardiff Bay which has been massively remodelled over the past few years - sci fi geeks who know their Torchwood would realise that most of the show is filmed in Cardiff, and the enterance to Torchwood is the Water Tower at the top of the Roald Dahl Plass ...

my whole route to get to the farm was totally unplanned, and i left later than i was hoping for anyways as i stayed in bed until 10am and then spend half the morning looking for my thermarest mattress with no such luck... i will have to get it from arno another time.

Hi everyone! How exciting - it is 2.16am according to my computer. I am too excited to sleep so I'm checking facebook, e-mails and general time-wasting!
