What a wonderful day in Salzburg. The bus ride was a very scenic one. My favorite sight was the Austrian Alps. We stopped in Mondsee midway and were able to view those beautiful Alps from a high viewpoint. I still can't believe I saw the friggin Alps......Salzburg was special. I am running out of adjectives trying to describe all the awesome cities, churches, food, etc.all day the guide was mentioning ...

A later start this morning - 8.30 departure for Salzburg. Last night's concert and meal was excellent. 4 course meal, followed by classical music, opera and ballet. A good mix and the music was excellent, with enthusiastic young conductor. Late night with packing up - the bigger the room the greater the spread! Caught up on emails etc. Countryside changes back to rolling hills, fields of corn, sunflowers nearly ready for harvesting, ploughed land, grape vines, quaint villages ...
