... night. I walked two blocks and stopped outside a T-shirt shop. A blackboard sign said: "Everything $2. Tonight only!" I went inside and looked around. The first Tee to catch my eye was a New York City type worn by John Lennon. On the same rack was a black Tee with "New York ******* City" emblazoned across the chest in a silver font. So little English, following a sat nav the driver made it to the airport after about 50mins. We had plenty of time so time wasn’t an issue but our taxi fare was. This taxi had no metre and knowing we were paying English prices Jovan stepped up to the plate...

... On the way back to the hotel we got a late lunch or early dinner of Subway sandwiches.

In the warmth of our rooms we ate our subs and nearly fell asleep. We felt exhausted. Thought we had beaten jet lag but we were wrong. When 7pm rolled on and we had to head out to go back to the theatre I nearly wished we didn’t have to. Time Square was beautiful at night and it alone was worth the trip in. We had seats which were discounted as they were two single seats but were ...
