    ... me perfectly. Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath was beautiful, but the constant drizzle of rain was annoying.. The house was in the final stages of restoration. I was not able to see the interior., but the grounds were amazing. Apparently George Michael has enjoyed some cruising walks here too.

    ... in Reykjavik and there will be 60 new passengers embarking there. We attended a guest lecture this afternoon covering our stops in the Shetland and Faroe Islands. The weather is supposed to be good and, if so, we should have some great pictures. We are really excited.r

    ... The amount of snow on the ground increased and we were constantly aware of ice on the road. It was a beautiful sunny day with little wind, so the snow was fun to start with. The track crossed many areas of peat bog and deeper soft snow. It was ok when you could walk on top of the snow but when you sunk up to the knees in to slushy ice cold bog it was not so good. ...
