    ... the Newsagents and went inside and it was just as massive..two levels with an escalator ... Eventually I found the maps upstairs and got what I wanted..Obviously Dubai doesn't know about these stores otherwise they would have made bigger ones there. We walked around to the Museum and the Town Hall , both impressive buildings, then we went through the Park and back to Cardiff Castle. We went into the castle and did a self guided tour..for speed as we were running out of time. ...

    ... The abbey guide dressed in theme of a14th century pilgrim and
    was very entertaining. Glastonbury is also a hippy town with some very
    colourful characters roaming the streets. On the bus again and heading
    for Cardiff, a brief city tour , past the Millenium Centre ( opera
    House) and then some time stopped by Cardiff Castle.

    ... of the relic was burned when the Jacobites (we think, can't remember after so much information!) came through the destroyed the icons and visual arts in the churches, including stained glass windows and this priceless treasure.

    I will try and round out our trip with a couple more posts, as well as set up another photo album with lots of pics!

    All packed and ready to go by 11.00 a still left a little late. No trouble on the roads and swift service for lunch in the pub so arrived in good time at the parking.
