How did I manage to make it to adulthood?

Our adventure begins with a very traffic-free drive down the M4 to Heathrow. After lots of chatting and swapping of sweets I realised that I had left something very important behind, on a chair in Whitchurch Primary School's staffroom. I had been very organised, surprising myself with my precision and attention to detail by arranging every ticket, ...

For our last day in Cardiff, we took to the city on foot. The Castle was only a river, a bridge and an animal wall away, which we walked alongside under joyful queries. The museum itself was quite interesting, although it is painfully obvious how much was chucked in the garbage back when BBC thought it was but a passing fad. More fortunate, we got to walk around in the ...

... getting lost there. Diana and Albert had travelled right down the east coast from North Queensland to Sydney with ATC which would have been an interesting trip. Monday we caught the bus into Brighton. It was a long bus ride 1.5 hours) but less stressful than driving and we had a nice day wandering around the beach (all stones, no sand), shops and Pavillion there. We walked downtown that night to the local Thai Restaurant. Very good. Tuesday we drove to a lovely ...

... The next evening we had booked ourselves on to a bar crawl. It was a bar crawl with a difference. We were picked up on a British double decker bus to be escorted from place to place. Another reason we wanted to go on this bar crawl was because it started with a BBQ (despite it being rubbish), and half way through the night we were all given free pizza.. A win win situation really! After a whole evening of partying, games (which Laura and verity did the team well and came second) ...
