... visit the esplanade pool for a swim, only to find it closed for maintenance! Bugger!! After lunch we went for a short drive out to Slade point and the Mackay marina, where we saw dolphins playing in behind the sea wall that protected the marina. Shelley's cousin David was passing through Marian for the night on a stop over from the mines where he worked and the Gold Coast where he lived. Rob did egg deliveries this morning then went back out with pork and bacon deliveries ...

So by 7am our entire camp setup was packed and kids in the car, quick stop at local bakery to pickup breakfast and coffee and we hit the road. After 3hours we made a quick stop in the beef capital, Rockhampton before continuing. rocky has cow/bull statues everywhere....what to me looked like brahamans, but the kids took ...

Another beaut day after a few overnight showers. I find I can charge the Engel battery by connecting it in parallel to the van battery. Skype with Annabelle and Belinda this morning. What a treasure is my grand daughter! Went for a drive out to Belmuda this morning and then down the old Hillsborough road and Seaforth Roads to rejoin the main road back to Seaforth. Lovely I fenced road with lots of grazing cattle and Wow, a great little community ...
