    We really liked our stay here... The room was much bigger then most best western's.

    ... up memory lane carrying George to the picnic spot. I think the couple who we exchanged picture-taking with will have stories to tell. We gave them the full story about George. The short story is "He's not a real dog. He's just a prop."

    So continuing on south on I-5 we eventually made it to Redding at about 3 pm and stopped for lunch at Lumberjacks. Apparently this is a small local chain. Think sports bar except with a giant Paul Bunyan statue out front. ...

    ... being a daddy! We also got to see Mark’s parents, Ward and Sandra Hinckley, who are there visiting Scott and Amy this weekend. After talking a while, we all went to the Red Robin for lunch.     ... for help but with money running low I avoided this. After a while it cooled off and we got thru the traffic and headed up n up more. I felt the Jeep struggling and it overheated again. I pulled over and checked a topographic map online of the areas I would be driving thru. It looked like I had hours of this ahead of me. So sadly at this moment I had a choice to make. Either continue on at 20mph to prevent overheating. ...
