    ... river. The entire length from start to finish is more than 6 miles, so we drove to various points on the trail and saw 4 of the waterfalls. Pretty brutal workout, too…lots of steep climbs and stairs.

    To end off the day, we explored Salem, which doesn’t take long at all. The capitol mall area has a few neat buildings and fountains, but that’s pretty much it.

    ... for batteries—Over $8 for 4 AA batteries!! On to 2 caches and did not find them-tooo many people around today! And then the new batteries went dead!! Damn.     ... in style! One warning about Capsaicin - wash your hands thoroughly after applying! Yikes!! I didn't feel any heat on my feet, but when I accidentally wiped my eye - I thought I was going to die!
