    ... get some excellent lentil soup and a cooked chicken for tonight. Phil’s back still bad and maybe even worse so he is really going to the doctor tomorrow. Dickies Wake is Thur eve with Mass on Friday. Cutting the chicken tonight I stupidly took a chunk out of my left index finger-right where it bends!! Bloody and very sore!! Weather has been overcast and there is a fire a few miles from here. We can easily see the smoke.

    ... Tuesday morning. I squeezed the last of my oranges - ended up with almost a gallon and will take it to James - had to use a ladder and the ‘picker’ to get the last off the tree. The ants have gotten to a lot of them so about 30 went into the trash. Not much packing to do tomorrow-mostly things I have to do like cancel paper and TV and some shopping – need a spare key for Don L who takes care of my place and will get one for Phil also. ...

    ... bathroom talk was warm and full of emotion. I reminded her that even when someone can't remember your face they can always feel your love. And that the reason we flew here to see Gpa before our big trip, is simply to shower him with LOVE. By the end of the night I caught up with one of my favorite cousins, Lyla had a blast with her 3rd cousins, and Sarah showered, lathered, and spoiled Gpa with ALL of her LOVE.

    ... I did nothing. Ate left over pizza for supper and had mint ice cream for dessert.

    June 28th-Saturday – I was awake much of the night, and I didn’t think I could get back to sleep but~~~next time I awoke it was 10:30!! Had a nice warm bath and hung around here again today; it is windy, overcast and rainy – just not nice out. Same dinner as last night!
