    ... river. The entire length from start to finish is more than 6 miles, so we drove to various points on the trail and saw 4 of the waterfalls. Pretty brutal workout, too…lots of steep climbs and stairs.

    To end off the day, we explored Salem, which doesn’t take long at all. The capitol mall area has a few neat buildings and fountains, but that’s pretty much it.
