They also provide free wine and a couple of meals. I guess they want to keep us pacified and sleepy. We opt to stay awake most of the trip because we know we'll arrive in the evening and need to sleep to get on to the new time zone. China is 13 hours ahead so when it's noon in Dallas it's 1AM in China.
