We were with 4 Aussies who were all stuffed in the rear while we scored the front seats :) We did a fly by of the Hoover dam and over lake mead then we dropped into the canyon ... The pilot was quite chatty and gave a pretty good commentary en-route ... We landed on a ...

... breezy on Sunday. We drove down to the North Rim, which was a bit of a disappointment. Cindy and I had a nice lunch at the Jacob Lake Inn. After nightfall, the breezes died off, and an evening in hoodies and jeans, with Bailey's and coffee was enjoyed by all. Monday morning, we packed up and headed home. The four hour trip turned into a 5 1/2 hour oddessey because of heavy construction delays. We arrived home by 5 P.M., dipped in the pool and called it an early ...
