Dallas
When people think of Texas, Dallas never fails to come to mind! This says a lot about the place when you consider that it is not the state capital, nor the largest city in the state. El Paso to Dallas is a long way so, not surprisingly, it took a long time to get there... I now understand the logic behind Texas being named 'The Lone Star State'. …
Dallas, Austin & San Antonio!
HOWDY YÁLL!
spent two nights in Dallas, two nights in Austin and two nights in San Antonio. Hung in downtown Dallas exploring the city, it's parks and attractions. We visited the sight where JFK was shot on the street during a rally and the sixth floor museum. A museum at the sixth floor of the building where he was shot from. That night …
JOURNEY REVIEW
This is just a quick review of the places i have been to so far
San Francisco
SF was a good starting point, thought about this city to begin my travel as i have seen the Golden Gate Bridge on so many TV shows and films that it looked quite vibrant. Maybe try out a different part of California such as LA or San Diego next time. SF is …

Today was the first day i have ever felt over-hot, it was to say exceptionally scorching today and although i went to Las Vegas which ultimately took the cake at being the hottest i have ever encountered this heat included humidity and both together was not comfortable to experience.
However, today i decided even though i was located far …
Family time
Had a leisurely morning .
Stephen and I took a walk and then we went with Aileen to meet her son Bruce and Jennifer at their home in Dallas.
We all went out to lunch at "The Porch" restaurant. Delicious appetizer, great entrees and even room for blueberry crisp w/vanilla ice cream.
Walked around Barnes and Noble and back ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Best Western Market Center Dallas
Loved the Best Western market Center
In a time when I needed a room with total privacy and comfort, the Best Western Market Center came through for me. The staff was friendly and almost had a little feel of Europe. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
Thumbs up to the Best Western Market Center
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and management always willing to put the extra mile to meet our expectations. Definitely represent well the best western brand. The location is ideal close to the business center with very affordable rates. Highly recommended.
Great stay in Dallas
I really enjoyed this hotel, perfectly located, very convenient, excellent service. It made my stay in Dallas so perfect that I will go back without hesitation. I very rarely write good reviews but I think this hotel was worth a little word of congrats!
Just perfect
I highly recommend this hotel !!
The service is excellent, rooms are quiet and clean.
This is a good price-quality ratio.
See you there !!
Very nice and perfectly located hotel
The Best Western Market center is perfectly located (close to downtown and the major highways) and very raisonably priced for the neighborhood. It is clean and very convivial. The service is very good. Nice pool too. This is a very cool place to stay in Dallas!
Friendly and well kept place
I really enjoyed my stay at this best western in Dallas. It centrally located to downtown so business can be done easily. It is also very easy to access all the good restaurants located less than 10 minutes by taxi.
The place is very pleasant with a nice pool. Rooms are spacious and well kept.
I would recommend this hotel to a friend.
Loved the Best Western
Some of my friends stayed in this hotel during a Nascar Racing week and they liked it a lot.
It is close to Oaklawn (many stores and restaurants available), convenient to the airport, and has easy access to I35, I30 and I75. The manager, Azzim, was very helpful and friendly. I will recommend it.
Great time in Dallas
While in Dallas if you want a nice place to stay I recommend that you try the Best Western Market Center. Centrally located, it's very near the downtown core, the Uptown restaurants as well as the major road arteries. The hotel director Azim and his staff are very friendly, courteous and always willing to go the extra mile to help make your stay a very pleasant experience. I also found the rooms and accomodations to be very clean. Trust me, Azim and his staff will ensure that you leave Dallas with a smile on your face.

Disappointed stay
I am sorry to say that I was very disappointed in my stay at this Best Western. The carpets were extremely dirty looking and very stained. I expect that things can't be perfect with so much traffic in and out of rooms, but I do expect to stay in a room that I am paying good money for to look and smell clean. The chair in our room was so soiled that I was afraid to sit on it and I didn't. I didn't even want to take off my socks and shoes to walk on the carpet. The toilet ran continuously and there was water running off the seat and lid. My grandchild was in Dallas Childrens Memorial Hospital which is the reason I was there in the first place. I tried many times to get an outside line so I could call the ICU waiting room to get updates on his condition and finally had to call the front desk to find out why I couldn't get a line. I was told oh don't feel bad I can't get a line out either, they're working on the lines around here I guess.I finally went and found a pay phone.I was extremely tired from the long trip to Dallas and sitting in the hospital for 32 hours waiting to see if my grandchild was going to live or not and just didn't have the energy to go somewhere else or I would have done so.I feel like i was taken for my $60 and I don't appreciate it at all. I don't believe I'll be staying at another Best Western again.
