      Friendly receptionist, great location and good rooms. Breakfast at the diner next door was also pretty good

      Not a very exciting travel day. Beautiful warm weather through Oklahoma and Missouri.

      ... soda, buffalo wing soda to fufu soda.       Oh and gotta say that it wasn't until we reached the Oklahoma City city limits that I saw anything along the side of I40 except tire treads…then they were (does) frolicking in the meadow close enough that I could see the 3 of them yet far enough away from the road that I didn't need to pray for them staying out in traffic.

      ... You're Halfway There". Unfortunately the cafe was closed until later in March. The wind had been blowing a gale all day - excellent for our gas mileage - but it meant I had trouble getting pictures of the equivalent mileage between Los Angeles and Chicago.
