From Galena, we progressed to Riverton, to the Rainbow Bridge. Ironically, this is a plain white bridge crossing a very small brown trickle of water, and has been bypassed by a new road because of safety concerns. However, Route 66ers can still trundle across it because it's a very historic part of the route, and has some very photogenic Route 66 emblems at either end which rather demand to be captured. ... it was ok to walk in. Then it got hard as the mud stuck to our thongs like cake batter or chocolate. At one point Hinesh's target flip flops kinda broke so he decided to walk in his feet, it looked fun so I copied. Your feet sunk into the mud and it was fun trying to walk around the cars to take photos and try not to stack it (surprisingly we didn't fall on our faces). ... soda- mmmmm! I got a Nesbitt's peach. Laneshia also got some chocolate flavored soda for her co-workers. That'll be interesting.
After making our purchase we stepped outside and took advantage of the wonderful sunset and took some pics in front of the Soda structure.
