Als we vanmorgen wakker worden, is het flink mistig. Goed geweest dus om gisteren naar Watkins Glen te gaan. We gaan naar de lobby van het hotel voor het ontbijt. ... shrimp - yum!
Yesterday drove on via Gettysburg - most interesting place where you can tour the battlefields of the Civil War. On through rapidly changing autumn coloured forests to Corning, where the world famous glassware is made. No rooms at Corning but across the river was a little place called Painted Post and we found rooms for ...

... it being Labor Day. Even the ride through Cincinnati was done with no issues, again probably because of the holiday and Bill's scheduling us through at 7 pm. The temperatures stayed moderate (84 max) all day and we found ourselves in Florence, KY ay 8 pm with 620 miles down and a reasonable ride facing us to get home tomorrow. A quick meal at McDonalds and a showers and to bed for a great nights ...
