Hubs still in a bad way so we set off early for the 200 mile drive to Amarillo. The weather turned en route, became darker and darker and the heavens opened. Rain? Never seen anything like it. Sheets of rain across the windscreen and wipers on full travelling at very low speeds and eventually we inched our way across the Panhandle. Then, got off I-40 in Santa Rosa, NM to see a bit of Route 66. Then, off ...
