... were there. More pics, than we headed to the Event site at the South Plains Fairgrounds and visited and found more Lab Caches, one was a prairie dog preserve where I got a better picture of the little critters.

Tomorrow we will visit his grave site and the Buddy Holly Center, a historical site, which has dual missions; preserving, collecting and promoting the legacy of Buddy Holly and the music of Lubbock and West Texas. We had a relatively short but pleasant driving day, leaving Sweetwater a little before 8AM and arrived here around 10:30. Checked in, got set up and relaxed, watched the Hawkeyes get beat by lowly Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament. Didn't do much for my mood for the rest of the day.
