Heading off from Victoria to begin our adventure to the Albuquerque NM balloon festival...ferry ride from Sidney to Anacortes treated us to orcas playing in the waters, neat! Overnight at the Swinomish Casino parking lot was comfy, but a bit chilly, thinking we might need some warmer sheets!
... it travels okay. We'll get it taken care of in Great Falls, our second home... That's the problem with having a house that you drive. You just never know...
We stayed, parked, in front of Lisa and Rich's house until this morning, Thursday. Lisa had Tuesday off, still on vacation, but Rich went back to work. We did a bit of shopping and went out for lunch, with Lisa, at Red Robin. The food was good.
This morning Jp got up early to go get us some coffee. He said the whole city was a zombie town...he less people sleeping everywhere and following him. We got a late start Friday heading out of Shoreline, and so we decided we couldn't make it to Chewelah, which was our original destination for this leg. Instead, we ended up at the Mar-Don Resort, a lakeside RV resort on the Potholes Reservoir near the town of Othello, WA (about 20 miles south of Moses Lake).
