      ... direction to follow!
Vannes is 13th century and has medieval ramparts and watchtowers and gates and there are beautiful halftimbered houses and buildings behind the townwalls. ... there are so many beautiful places close by. We went to Vitre yesterday, into Fougeres today and found our way to the wine cave to buy some Vin rouge et Vin blanc ( French rural version of Dan Murphys). The vintner was rolling his eyes at his daughter and asked how long we were staying and even gave us a free bottle extra! Maybe French people don't usually buy as much as we did??

I will put some photos below of the house and some of the places we have visited. J.
