After four days on the road from Sparks, I made it to Valparaiso Indiana to Kathy and Lee's house. On the way there I stopped in Spearfish and spent the night in their city park. An early evening supper at a local restaurant, dining on the patio overlooking a small river, we continued to enjoy J&T’s company. We had taken two cars, the girls in the yellow bug, as the boys wanted to head out to the airfield to check over the EZ before we moved on. We really enjoyed our stay and were made very welcome – thanks Jan and Terry.
So I most definitely underestimated the stress involved in planning and packing for two separate trips totaling eight weeks and driving home to Mentor. But I made it, bags packed and ready to go.
