The English Inn in Eaton Rapids (outside of Lansing Mi) is where we got married one year ago October 4, we went back to celebrate our anniversary and recall that "day of days". It was a little warmer this year but still a nice cool misty October afternoon / evening. Here are a few photos from this year, we will post some photos from the wedding in a few days.

... commit myself to this job and maybe someone else could. I don't want to let the LPI down by not being here. Maybe I am considering my job to be more important than it really is, but I am not satisfied with doing a rushed, half-ass job. I've learned through college that it never pays off in the end, and it way work against you in the future.
Well, I am meeting with my supervisors today to talk about this.
Wow, I can't believe I've written so much for my first blog ...

After a hectic weekend with graduation and parties, it's finally time to head overseas. I've been planning this trip for almost a year now, hard to believe it has finaly arrived. We depart DTW at 3 PM, make a couple stops on the east coast in Baltimore and Philly before we fly into Dublin. We will be there Tuesday morning. We are staying at the Ashfield House, located in the city centre. More info to come later.
East Lansing, Michigan, United States zlsmith82... t sure what to expect. When our Tour Director, Debi, showed up at the welcome reception in a Renaissance gown, we started having our doubts! But Debi was so fantastic and the costumes went with her personality -- we even started taking bets on what her costume would be with each city. There were 41 total travelers on the trip but it didn't feel like that many somehow and everyone got along. We never thought of ourselves as tour ...
Dimondale, Michigan, United States pmf1153After a long, crazy week of wedding planning and our wedding (!), we are trying to find motivation to study for our last three finals each. We both have two finals tomorrow and one on Tuesday morning. There is so much cleaning to do! Our apartment is in shambles, laundry is everywhere, the fridge may be housing toxic mold, along with text books and wedding gifts ...

Lansing, Michigan, United States johnsinclair... We got on the plane, did the whole sitting around bit, taxi, then take off. I checked out the movies, and they looked pretty good. I wound up watching Candy, the second part of March of the Penguins, the first part of The Pink Panther, and the first part of Ice Age 2 as well as an episode of The Office. I played one game and slept for a few hours. For dinner, they gave us a beef dish, and I went ahead and ordered wine to go with it. Mmm. I hoped it would knock me out for a little ...

Lansing, Michigan, United States jennieyuenToday I am thinking of all the reasons why I shouldn't go to India. The big one is money. If I were to stay here and work, I would save the 4 grand to go to India, plus I could make nearly that working over the summer. It would make my debt load so much lighter. Instead, I tell myself that money doesn't matter, and that the experience will be completely worth being poor the whole of ...
