Greetings from Holt and the first day of Pearson and Emery's Summer vacation! How do we know......well no one (including the girl still in school) got up before 7am, they were both still sleeping at 10:13am and when they finally did make their way to the kitchen the first question was, "What's for breakfast?"

... br> We picked up our train tickets and some of our hotel reservations last week as well. This week we are hoping to finalize places we want to see so we can purchase tickets ahead of time....recommended for some of the busier places we want to see in Italy. Truthfully though, knowing how we have traveled in the past, somethings we might not decide to do until we're there and that's okay with us.

After a week in Barrie, and 5 days of service work, we were finally ready to hook up the car and set off for LA...until they pointed out the leak coming from the car! Thankfully, we found a Toyota dealership that could get the car in and fixed on a Friday afternoon. It turns out the leak that was fixed back in Ottawa, was done incorrectly. Our departure was now set for Saturday morning.
