      ... and tenders use to unload their crews who would drink and carouse at Dolly Arthur's and other brothels along the boardwalk at Creek Street. It was known as the only place in Alaska where the fish and the fishermen both came to spawn! Now, the area is a prominent tourist area and really worth seeing because of it's unique location. It was a fun stroll and a good opportunity to view the salmon making their journey upstream.
