From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction. However, with my upcoming trip to Peru and Bolivia; I can't spin the hands of the clock fast ...

Early packing, sun shining brightly, again a clear blue sky.

Early call from the vet, Mac is ok but will not be home till Sunday.

Paul and I went to the golf store Golfsmiths for a final purchase, and filled the car with gas for the return to the airport.

Played a little radio talking back to Croatia, Belgium, Italy etc, to be sure all is left working well with Jim, then Mike, Angela, Cameron and Hayley came over ...

... br> 1500. Stopped in Abilene for lunch. Planned to eat at Los Arcos for some Mexican food but they closed at 1400. Boo. Ended up at Dairy Queen for some steak fingers & a blizzard! Read the 3rd book of the Game of Thrones series aloud for Mando most of the way.

1800. Pulled into my driveway. So happy to be home!
