With the help of many childhood friends/cousins, I built probably one of the most elaborate tree houses a 7-14 year old probably could've. ... and that was out of a kayak. So this was clearly a different deal. As I scrambled for my camera, I was thinking: "What if he doesn't want to move?" I had also heard moose can be aggressive and charge. Thinking about that, despite the bike, I was certainly the smaller of the two of us. Unfortunately, or fortunately, by the time I got the lens cap off, he scrambled off into some high brush on the side of the road. I pulled up to the to the spot he ...

... of us to her cabin quite a few weeks ago, and we were really excited about going there. The others had been before, but it was my first time. I drove to Sharon's by 7:45am and then out to Stacey's, near Stonewall, a small settlement outside of Winnipeg. I thought I would be driving to Ontario, but Stacey said she couldn't face the idea of five hours there and back with my PT Cruisers dodgy air conditioning! I wasn't about to argue, that's for sure. So we left my car ...
