    I can't believe we are actually in Kenora, ONTARIO tonight after travelling total of 2,560km!! As the main purpose of this trip is to spend as much time as possible in the Atlantic Provinces we drove straight through the Prairies. Will slow down now we've reach Ontario.     ... of water -- but rather bays and inlets set against islands and peninsulas. Maybe the rock is the reason for all the lakes -- the water can't sink down to the aquifer as it does further West.

    I spend a few hours of the day at the motorcycle shop in Winnipeg, but my hopes for a working speedometer are dashed. It will take more than a new cable to fix it -- so onwards and upwards with only the GPS to guide me.

    ... on the horizon - the result was me getting quite seasick. I was very tempted to put my head over the side, but I did my best to hold back...and then after about 2 hours the wind seemed to die down and the waves stopped.
