We left Uluru about 4 pm on Feb 2nd. We were absolutely exhausted by the heat. From just after 8 am to about 8 pm it is unbearably hot, about 40. We picked up our Ford XR6 first thing in the morning (man I sound like a man saying that) and headed to pick up our two friends from Weribee (about 30 minutes out of Melbourne CBD).
