Chuck wanted to see his Uncle Ron and he was going to be at his cabin on Lake Muskelunge. We had no idea where it was or the address but we used the iPad and drove around until we found a sign by the road. So, we surprised them. Had a great Wisconsin dinner with Brats, burgers and fresh apple pie. It was great to see them!

Today is Pat's 75th birthday! Gave her a call while we still have good cell service. She sounds so happy and is looking forward to a fun weekend with James and all her kids. Wish we could have made it there for her special day but the timing didn't work this year.... Packed up for a long travel/sightseeing day. ... access in cafes and restaurants. Camp 28 had WiFi, and I'm currently at the Frosted Mug in Rib Lake doing this blog after a nice breakfast. In a short while I will continue north along HWY 13 with stops in Ogema (highest point in Wisconsin) and Phillips, which boasts a collection of interesting sculptures. I will keep you posted.
