... looking down at a site where dinosaur eggs had been found.

This is my first time at Glacier National Park. I'm told the glaciers are melting, there's still 21 glaciers in the park but there were a lot more of them just 10 years ago.
Saint Mary, Montana, United States sjandbuddyGlacier National Park is fantastic. The highway, named "Into The Sun
Highway" (exactly what we were doing!), hugs the mountainside, dips
into valleys and brings you up through glorious passes. It's like a 50
km scenic roller coaster ride. Wheeeee!
Columbia Falls, Montana, United States bonthornWhen we saw the name on this place we had to stop in Honour of Anna. I very much enjoyed "entering" Polson as it is a thing I have always wanted to do. Unfortunately, the anticipation was better than the experience and I was glad to leave soon after entering. (Polson is the Tasmania (or Gore) of the USA, must be a small gene pool.)
Polson, Montana, United States mcginlays... chopped strawberries and bananas and maple syrup. Of course we had coffee and orange juice and it was really lovely eating it out on their deck by the lake. What a life! She tried so hard and was so keen to do it but then her hands got really sore and it was really time to leave. After ...

Polson, Montana, United States brent-n-toby... established to support a population of American bison. It is home to about 350-500 of these animals. Other large wildlife found on the Range include elk, white-tail and mule deer, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep and black bear. Because of its open grasslands, the Bison Range is a place for the public to enjoy some excellent wildlife observation and photography."
National Bison Range, Montana, United States life-in-a-yurtSo firstly why Scotland..... well our drivers hadn't realised at first that Big Cloud Country was on our itinery as it had changed from the previous years, so the Scots had wanted to go there!!! Montana, Montana, United States neilandamy... is a unique set-up. The students are tested when they come to the school and placed in the appropriate level. The classes are divided up by age and also by behavior issues and gender issues that occur in the classrooms. This means that we will have multiple grade levels in our classes and that the instruction is mainly one-to-one with the students as they work at their own pace. It is great to see these students successful in this environment ...
St. Ignatius, Montana, United States johnandheatherWhile we were out in Seattle, we drove to the cattle ranch that James' aunt and uncle run in Polson, Montana. James loves it here and it was easy for me to see why! We did a cattle roundup on horseback, rode 4-wheelers, and visited Glacier National Park. A great trip!
