The snow ridge was like 30 yards wide and went down the mouuntain a good 100 yds. We started at the top and walked down the then slide on our butts for the rest of the way. This time there werent as many rocks at the bottom to fear.

... we didnt see any. We hiked along and eventually heard the rapids roaring. We didnt see any clear lines down to the river so we scrambled along the ridge on a game trail. We came to the best place to drop down to the water. We were about 100 feet up and needed a gradual cliff to get down. When we did we walked up to the mild rapids and got right in. The water was cold and felt great in the heat. We hung out there for a good hour ...
