      ... and I am pretty slow taking lots of short rest breaks. Coming down went a lot faster but was ********* the knees. We had a total vertical ascent of 1000 feet on this hike today. This was very encouraging because our first day on the Camino will have a vertical ascent of about 1400 feet but we have all day to do it. Yay!       ... Also Big G have a guy playing saxophone which is awesome. They also have a light show in between performing, so they project all these cool images onto the rocks including the Colorado flag and grumpy cat. Grumpy cat at one stage was being projected on screen and then his eyes turned red and started 'vomiting' out rainbows. It was insane! They also had the local high school marching band come on stage which sounded sick!

      ... rain and we decided to turn around. I also want to mention that you could see the snow capped Rocky Mountains of Colorado from our RV park. Pretty cool. We had a delicious dinner at The Senator's Steakhouse. In 2009, this restaurant took the Bobby Flay Best Burger Award on the Food Network Channel.       During August and September (the supposed dry months) of 2013, I planned my first long distance solo motorcycle camping trip. (Up till now, my longest trip was 5 days around Colorado.)
