We departed Savannah oaks at about 6 am , the power was out and we didn't want to flatten our batteries making breakfast. During the news last night they are worried about a tornado over Mobile Alabama. Although a long way from us they say the tail end of the storm will hit the coast bringing rain and wind. We want to be as close to Washington as possible so we don't get stuck in a small town. The early start will put us ...

Good Morning blog! The alarm we off this morning at 4:50am. We needed a little extra time this morning to pack up everything in the truck and say good bye to Marsh one last time. The radio called for a high of a high of 87 today. That's a little on the chilly side, I might need a jacket today! It's a welcome relief from 98 this past week.

Today was let's bust our ass and do 7 points before 10am day! That is the most points we have ever done in one day. We got to our first point at 6:15. It was my turn to be the copilot this morning so I naturally took at nap but not before saying a little prayer to avoid ditches and tickets. Ok, back to the first point. I had just woken up and coin flip was tails which ment I do the treatment. I stepped out of the truck and my ears were flooded with bird calls. Within ...

Well we came back to quite a surprise this afternoon. The air conditioning decided to quite on us today. We walked back into the bedroom and it was a balmy 84 degrees. Lucky for us our abode has 3 separate wings, each with it's own air conditioning. We packed up our things and relocated into a room off of the living room which was a good 10 degrees cooler. We really made out better ...
