Another travel day from Bordeaux to Rennes. Rennes is heading west and close to the west coast. The reason for going to Rennes is it is about an hour away from the famous Mont Saint Michel, and has a dedicated direct bus.
It was such a nice sunny day and the lovely green countryside made the time pass quickly. I arrive into Rennes about 5.30pm and head to my accommodation.

We took ages trying ...
Departed Sarlat about 9.30 am and spent the best part of the next 8 hours or so getting to Rennes, approx 570 Klms north of Sarlat.
Had our first taste of Toll fees on the A84, €14.50 for a stretch of about 100 Kim's, it was worth it to zip along at 130 kph for a while.
Once we arrived in Rennes dumped our gear at the hotel and went for a 2 Klm walk into town to stretch the legs after being in the car for so long. Back to the hotel and had a quiet ...
