We arrived in Plerguer after about a 4 hour drive. It took for ever. When we arrived we found
      our unit easy.

We went to Mont St Michel. It is a church, a couple of shops and houses on a massive rock.

We went inside the massive church, it is called an abbey.

We got a tour guide to tell us what certain areas of the church where. Like the main church bit, where the monks ...

      ... again.

      Yesterday was New Years Eve.

      HAPPY NEW YEAR!

That is the end of 2014.
      I can't wait for 2015. 2014 was a really good year.

But also sad a little, because we left some of our family.
But the good thing was we went traveling. It has been fun.

Next we are off to Disney land. It is going to be SO FUN! ...

      ... from the markets.

We wandered through the quaint town of Dinan. A lot of its buildings weren’t straight and really looked like they would fall over.
We walked around the city walls and the boys attempted to climb them.

It was an amazing end to 2014 with almost 3 months of travel in Spain, Portugal and France.

Looking forward to more European adventures in 2015.

Sundays are quiet days in France; many shops are closed. I enjoyed walking around historic downtown Rennes this morning in the silence and the light of a low angled autumn sun. I happened upon a wonderful foodie event in the covered market at Place des Lices. Local honey, mead, fromage, and much more! Now, to pick up my rental car and head ...

... coffee, which doesn't stick to the sides for very long when you are cycling, so we were lucky this Easter Monday morning to have struck such a substantial petite dejeuner given we had a reasonably long day ahead and were not sure what shops would be open along the way.

It was rather funny because they did not speak much English and kept diving for the iPad and google translate to communicate with us. This drew out the time over breakfast when we had wanted ...
