... and seemed to take more turns. Finally we turned SE on ID-75S The scenery really picked up from there. The road became narrower and the twists and turns became tighter and there was no civilization for the first 50 miles. It was a beauitiful drive through the Sawtooth Mts south to Sun Valley. The entire journey, largely downhill, was full of captivating views of the snow capped mountain range.

Arriving at the town of Ketchum around lunch time we took a stroll and found a very cool ski town. It didn't seem like a "make believe" town as there was some fantastic history, a hint of celebrity and 64 ...

... and it almost seems as if I weigh more. A sleeping roll would have been a great idea. Instead gravity punished me all night. My portly frame crushed down on the rocks and gravel under my sleeping bag all night long. By 2AM it was very tempting to wake Colby up and head back to the RV. However he was having a great time and I would hate to disturb him mid slumber. So I sucked it up for another 4 hours of sleepless agony. At the exact stroke of 6AM ...
