... I was simply trying to do my best. It just goes to show that the band members of Def Leppard are of a different breed. They care very much about those around them and do everything they can to make you feel welcome. I truly could not have asked for a better group of guys (Band and crew) to be a part of. I am now a member of the Def Leppard family.

... go by and generally feel smug because our "small house" certainly has a different "big yard" this evening! There are definite advantages to making like a turtle and having your home with you!

After the show, we will drive back to the campground for the night. Tomorrow morning we will be heading eastward once again. Have to get back to the sweltering heat at DWLP at some point in our lives I guess...

So far today we have driven approximately 35 ...

... is now the gift shop. This location is an "Official Laura Ingalls Wilder Homesite", and this particular one is where the first book, "Little House on the Prairie" is based. I know I read all of the books as a child and that both of our daughters, Laura and Kim did also as I made sure of it. I know that many of you ladies reading this blog must have read them too...good memories!

Leaving Little House at 12:45 we continued our trek towards Tulsa, OK, crossing into Oklahoma at 1:00 ...

... other. We did miss our last included breakfast, which I regretted very much, but it couldn't be helped. So we ate some donuts at the airport. And we tried valiantly to spend the last of our Euros, but I think we just weren't in the mood. We did spend all the coin Euros on snacks, since the bank in Tulsa won't exchange coins.
