First Stop: Just west of Fargo, ND at a little burg called Casselton. Sky looks ominous tonight! The guy who just came in next to us said he had just driven through the worst storm he had ever been in, with whiteout conditions. You could tell he was shaken up by it. Second Stop: Patterson Lake Recreation Area Campsite in little town of Dickinson. We are west ...

I went for a run in the morning and then we headed across Minnesota towards Duluth...past ALL those lakes in Minnesota! So many of them.

Travelling through South Dakota today on I 29, saw lots of wide open farmland, also lots of standing water from recent flooding, areas where water had been on the Interstate. Rolling hills as we got closer to North Dakota, staying in Fargo ND tonight, then north again ...

    The longest departure EVER

Got into security after waiting for some folks and a chatty security agent, and as always it takes me a bit longer because of hand checking my insulin pump. I got an expedite card so I didn't have to take off my shoes or sweatshirt (which was good, since I had nothing under the sweatshirt...). I went to the composure area to get "composed" and signaled to Peter that I was going ahead to hold the plane :) . . .

Boarding was taking place and Peter ...
