... m really going to miss those Sundays (and Saturdays for college football). At least I got to see my Lions win their season opener; I'm telling you, this is their year...SUPERBOWL HERE WE COME!
Anyways I need to wake up in about 7 hours to drive to O'Hare tomorrow morning so I'll just cut off here. Off to go finish packing haha...hopefully my next post will be from China!

... dinner. Luckily we stumbled upon Captain Lou's Bar and Grill where I could feed my addiction to fish taco's. Karen had the perch basket and both were great meals in pleasant surroundings as we sat outside on the canal, watching the boats cruise back to their berths.
I can understand why this place is such a popular weekend getaway for Chicagoans.
... in the back yard, there has not been a single sighting. And then Ben told us about the birds - blue jays and robin red breasts. Have we seen any of them! No! This is definitely not a wildlife trip but there was a large wasp nest in the front eave of the house which the exterminators came to spray today so I can't say there have been no wildlife here!
