... Along the way we went through a nice neighbourhood that was testing their tornado sirens. It's a really surreal sound that makes you feel a war is about to break out! Luckily it's not tornado season, but the thunderstorms are! You can see and hear them coming from miles away, which makes the articulation of them so much worse! Two weeks Road Trip in the US

... degrees. The burgers were delicious; we were left licking our fingers.

By about 4 pm we started to make our way down south on highway 1. The more we drove the more beautiful the drive became. The blue water, the stunning cliff and the wild flowers seemed to complement each other so well. Such drives are meant to be savoured so we kept stopping every few miles to observe and gaze the beauty. The drive reminded us a lot of the Great Ocean Road drive in Australia.

... have possession of "Ethel"... Ethel has 260k on the clock and a few battle scars, but she makes us smile as we lope along the highway.
We took off to the Golden Gate Bridge for a stroll. Finding very scenic views from the Northern embankment and eventually walking the bridge, we finished the day with a burger from "In and Out" burger joint. A chain of burger places that suggest they are what McDonalds used to be.
On that note, we have only seen one McDonalds store ...
