I forgot about being unemployed and enjoyed her company. I didn't even remember when she said, "lets get Thai for dinner," I replied with we are going to spend money eating out tomorrow n it will be expensive. She was ok with it n so was I :) ended ...

We are headed to Gilroy, the Garlic Capital of the World! Well...Our luck has held ...

Our journey out of Yosemite was not entirely straightforward......... We had decided that we needed to see some giant redwoods as we had been thwarted in our attempt to see them in Sequoia National Park. We headed for the Mariposa Grove, near the southern park entrance and about thirty miles from the Campground. We had woken in the morning to a change in the weather. Temperatures which had been balmy were decidedly chilly ( and ...

... getting an early start in an effort to try to get a jump on all the large caravans. We've made reservations at the more popular stops along the way but are also planning on 'winging it' quite a bit! We are prepared for all types of weather but we are really hoping we don't have to pull out our snow gear!! It should be a great three months and I promise to keep you posted on all of our adventures and discoveries. Honest!!
